@ Zach - End of October/beginning of November is a very good time to visit. There are numerous parties held around that time too and it forms the end of the rainy season and the weather is generally fine.
 
@wolfetone - I've spent quite some time in Cambodia too and enjoyed its differences with Thailand. Only around a month in total in Sihanoukville over the years though. You may find some of this familiar from a few years ago, a bit of Snooky in there too.

After sitting on the fence and reading about the great times people have had in the LOS, I am taking the plunge and visiting in July. I am planning to start in Phuket for a week then go up to Pattaya. After reading some the experienced members comments I think it best not to make serious plans on when and where to go. I am going to let the party lead me.

 

Hope to meet some of you and have a few drinks. Cocktails & Dreams sound like a good place to start when I get to Phuket.

Welcome to the forum G-man! Glad you've found the information here useful and helped you make the decision to visit LOS. There is no place like it for lbs! You've also understood that plans (like a "to do" list) while fine, is not necessarily the best approach to take during your visit.

Phuket is a great place to start your adventures as it is a bit more relaxed, and not so much " into your face"

 

And it is hard to find a more friendly and relaxed ladyboy bar than Cocktail&Dreams, show up there one night around 10 and ask for Jim and introduce yourself....then you are in good hands   and he has ALL the information you can think about regarding the ladyboy-scene in Phuket

 

BTW...a bit sad you aint around on June where i will be there myself from the 19-26

Hi everybody!

I just joined the forum. I`ve been to thailand once but never tried LBs, though now I`m regretting it more and more. Since I loved thailand, the food, the climate, the people and the architecture, I wanna return soon (I have those miles piled up). This tme Im definetely trying those LBs! I`ll be looking forwaard to your advice.

Oh and by the way, Im from Istanbul, another great tv escort capital of the world. Unfortunately I never tried the tv`s here although some of them are absolutely beautiful. I heard a lot bad things about the quality of services, they all rush, and they are sometimes aggressive. So I didn`t get the courage. But if you have any advice for these parts I would love to hear it as well.

I visited Bangkok in February this year but had no interest in LBs. On returning home I looked at LB escort sites and was struck by how attractive some of them were. I have not stopped thinking about them since. I tried a couple of LBs in London, but whereas the service was good and my excitement was intense, they did not appear as good as in their pictures. I will be returning to Bangkok in November to try LBs there. I will be interested to find out if they are as good as their pictures. I found this site when googling and find it helpful in terms of where LB bars are and reports. I hope to contribute a report after my trip.
