..have you had any of the flooding issues there in Phuket that Patts has been having, can't believe the flooding photos I've seen from there.. it's becoming worse there than in the Philippines if that's possible.

Actually we haven't had so much rain lately, so its hard to say. I suspect that with the vast amount of construction work here, combined with filling in, or covering over of the klongs, a real proper downpour would quickly submerge parts of Patong, as usual.
Last time there was some good rain, the water in the police station was waist deep, lol !

I will be in patong on 20 of november and ready for C&D.Today i also get i bad news , one of the girls a good friend of me ,she was also work at C&D ,die in a car accident .So Yo hope that Buddha take your soul to a nice and better place .
Terrible news.
I've ranted elsewhere about thai driving, so won't repeat it except to say that its high time the authorities got to grips with it. To lose so many people every year is just disgraceful.

Yoyo at the beginning of the year (photo courtesy of Wants 'Em Both GG & LB). Such a terrible thing that she failed to see the end of the year, or even her 23rd birthday, later this month!
Her friend, the driver, was wearing her seat belt and suffered only a broken arm. Yoyo wasn't.......

A sad loss for all of those who knew her. Always sickens me when a young life is ended so suddenly. Yo died yesterday morning in a car accident in Udan Thani.

Thanks Batters. Madame Whisky was the only C & D girl in Team NingNong that won the competition.
So they've been disqualified for importing too many "ringers".
Therefore Team Jimbo were the winners!
