Sad to hear they had problems at my fav. hotel :( hopefully nothing serious

No, only a broken chair in the end, Batters. Some pushing and shoving. Actually the guy was lucky Quique wasn't there and that his lady calmed the guy down before all the thai boys came rushing round eager to give the farang a good kicking.

Yeah WTB great photos. Looks like girls enjoyed posing for you.
Jimbo I had no intention of going to soi croc. You know I had a fixed agenda. Only Tootsie and C&D. Whole trip I never looked at any GG or any other bar.Had such a fantastic time with your girls.only regret is lack of time and two out of four days was your holiday.

..some others aren't so lucky, they have to learn the hard way, by not reading the forum on what "not to do" when arguing with a ladyboy with high-heeled shoes..

And this is only the least kind of danger I was talking about in the vortex. I hope Surin understands that newbies should be over cautious. Experienced BM's need to guide them while dealing with freelancers.

You're right WT about the need for caution at all times.

Though this article states the incident occurred near an LB bar in Pattaya (Sensations? Pook Swan? Other?), it does not state that the culprit was one of the dedicated bar-girls. As you allude to, it was probably a freelancer since the police are "still looking for her". Obviously, if she worked in any of those bars, she'd be very easy to find.

Feelancers have a notorious, sometimes well-deserved reputation. With no Big Boss to answer to, the built-in deterrent of getting fired is gone. Reading the online, english version of the Pattaya Daily News can be a real eye opener about all the various, nefarious fates that await the unsuspecting and the clueless.

My guess is that the falang involved mouthed-off and insulted the ladyboy, rather than simply walking away and ignoring her. I don't know though. Wasn't there.

That said, one of my best LB experiences ever was with a freelancer I found on Walking Street. An unexpected GFE which turned into a LT. A surprising degree of affection and pampering...and great sex. However, for the most part I will stick with a bar-girl, a LB massage-girl, or an LB who works in a shop or salon.

Thaivisa.com reports that she was arrested. Not the most attractive...
Old, cantankerous, and sorry if I piss you off - well, not really. Just enjoy!

Maybe this news item deserves a separate thread? (Well away from Phuket).

This particular incident msy have occured in Patays ( which is more notorious) but Jimbo you said you had to sort out s similar incidence. I feel If a newbie gets involved in an incident like this , he will lose the enjoyable aspects of lb loving for life.

Monday Night

Aha, so thats what Low Season feels like!

Jeepers we were quiet last night. I thought with the rain belting down for most of the day, the tourists would be flocking into Bangla. Well maybe they did, but they bypassed C & Ds last night. CRikey we'll have to do a better job tonight, or i'll be sleeping on the beach!

I even resorted to playing Jackpot
