 As a footnote: I think we've seen the last of Jen, as she was caught in possession on tuesday night.

 

 She was skating on thin ice anyway, having missed her fortnightly pee tests, apparently.

 Now, she's languishing in Phuket prison awaiting trial.

 

 What goes around, comes around. Having not repaid loans to other girls in the bar, her pleas for help raising the bail fell on deaf ears.

 

 If she behaves, and its a big IF, i imagine she'll be out in about a year.

 

 I hope she learns her lesson, but having a void between her ears, means i'm full of doubt.

I don't know which girl that is based on name alone and I don't feel like skimming through a dozen pages to find out, but it's never a bad time to be reminded of the pitfalls of being involved with drugs in Thailand, nevermind just the health issues.

 

Even being involved with such a girl, if caught in possession, may involve any farang currently in the room as an accessory too. I steer well clear of anyone who I suspect or know to be involved with drugs as the sound of those handcuffs clicking onto your own wrists is the absolute nightmare scenario in a foreign country, especially Thailand. Almost, if not zero tolerance for drugs.

 I believe the UK's prison population are mainly made up of violent criminals. Phuket's filthy, overcrowded, 100 year old cesspit is 70% filled with drugs offenders, demonstrating how widespread the problem is, and how seriously the courts deal with it.

 

 Only last week i was asked, by a perfectly respectable looking customer if i could obtain cocaine! I went ballistic and told him, even if he managed to obtain it elsewhere i didn't want it brought anywhere near the bar, as i have no desire to spend one second of my life in some filthy thai prison.
