Teppis, of course you know all the risks involved, but certainly there are a few lbs out there who can make a successful relationship happen. Wishing you and Sonya all the best, and as Moo Yung wrote, better to try and fail than never know.

I like the vacuum cleaner and high heels shot - stylishly domestic! Can she cook too?

To be honest, i doubt that i don't know even half of risks but i'm ready to take my chance. I wish i could say that "failure is not a option" but if i'm realistic, i have about 30% chance of success. Reason why i'm ready to do this is because i realize that my old life style has come to end and it will leads only slow steps to grave. But one thing is sure, Sonya isn't weakest link in this adventure.

About vacuum cleaner. I bought it to her and funny thing is that she is first one in her family who owns vacuum cleaner... 555

No idea how good cook she is, but she heat up instant noodles in microwave oven just like that.

I wish you luck Teppis, it is a scary and exciting decision to make.

Tell me about it. When i made my final decision about year ago i was both terrified and excited. Now i have done most difficult things already and i'm ready to do this.

Teppis,

Best of luck with the move. I enjoyed reading your trip reports. I will be sure to check out Sensations on my upcoming trip in Jan. I have never really been to LB bars outside of BKK. I have been to Pattaya before but didn't know much about the scene there. I thought it was funny you posted that Atom and Sonya were in LTR as I am sure you would have been bombarded with questions if you had not being that they are very beautiful. I myself was really taken with Atom that is more or less my type, no surprise she is taken lol. Maybe my next trip you will be setup by then and I can buy you a beer, least I could do for all the entertainment until my trip.

Thanks,

Brian.

Thanks Brian

Actually when i took those Atom pics, she said to me "you can post my pics in forum". Her words exactly.

This means that she have profile either here or LBP. However about week ago when i tagged her in Facebook, she send me angry post where she asked why i post her pics. I had to remind her that it was her who gave permission to do it. After that she either remember this or then she just recognize me (i have only masked pics about me in my FB) and was ok.

Anyway i don't want problems to anyone. Not for girls, boyfriends/sponsors... or myself. So better tell straight how things are so there's no room for misunderstanding.

Hopefully we meet some day...

So this was my summer holiday 2013.

But... what's next?

I already sold my apartment, denounce myself and i'm moving to Pattaya at April 2014. I know that this could be most stupid idea in my life, but i need to try something new and different. Here in Finland i will die on boredom, and this is not a joke.
This decision didn't came quickly, but i've been thinking this long time now. I'm gonna give myself couple years time to find something in Thailand and if i can make successful business (nothing LB/GG-bar related) then i will stay there. If not, then i will come back to Finland. I'm lucky to have profession where age isn't problem, and my experience in work will give me new job even if i keep couple years pause. Sonya is naturally part of my plan as she is my girlfriend and we live together. It's gonna be interesting to see what life can offer to me. Who dares wins...

So it seems that maybe BM's of this forum will hear more about me pretty soon...

The End

i wish you all the best mate.... ill guess that Boomdraw aint a part of your plans..?? :D

nope will seriously miss your postings if your stop in here...so promise me to not sell your camera..... :tada:

Thanks mate  :)

Only thing what ends now is this TR and soon starts new one, so i don't have plans to sell my camera. In fact, i just bought new Sigma 85mm F 1.4 lens for portraits and now i'm looking if i can find decent price Canon 70-200mm F 2.8 mk II. This should be mean interesting times for forum...  ;)

Just got rid of all my Canon stuff Teppis,

Turning mid 60's it just got too heavy.

Traded it for Olympus EM5.

Good luck and long love in Thailand.

You may have found one of the few gems out there making the difference for the rest.

Did enjoy Nong Nooch garden also, and got a few shots from behind the Tourist tracks

I fully understand your decision to change equipment. Sometimes it's real pain in the ass to carry such a load stuff, especially if you are in holiday and try to relax. I had to buy motorcycle box for Sonya's scooter so i could carry my camera-things with us. Strategy what doesn't quite work in "normal holiday"... 555

Yep, hopefully i can give some nice pics and lot of information for all LB lovers. But one thing is sure, we will meet some day...  :)

A fascinating read Brother T. Stunning photography.

I remember reading one of your earliest TR's here. It seems that you were smitten by Sonya then, and frankly, I rather enjoy reading about how your tourist-soire' evolved into something of a love story. I admire you for your courage and openess as you share with us this glimpse into your life's journey.

Best wishes to you!

I'm very happy to hear that you like my TR and as i said, soon this story will continue. Hopefully my experience can encourage those BM's who only dream about going Thailand and try "dark side"...

..good luck Teppis on your move to LOS, the only failure would be if you never tried, and at my age I can tell you I have many regrets for things I wanted to do but never did. I appreciate all the photos that you shared with us here that would have never been seen but thru the eyes of your camera.  I especially liked the pics & videos you shared on U-tube of Sonya & the girls of Sensations and the discovery of Bombi, a face and figure I fell in love with, who I see was missing from Sensations latest posts here from the owner Scott. If I remember correctly you did tell us she had a sponsor so at that time I presumed she wouldn't be available anyway so I never made the attempt to meet her there.

.. anyway now you will be able to keep us up-to-date on all the goings on there and we will follow your new adventures of an expat living the dream, my best wishes for your life with Sonya and becareful on those streets and highways if or when you're on a motorbike!

.. not young enough to know everything & not old enough to have done everything!

Always great posts Teppis! I wish you continued success with your relationship. You chose a very lovely partner. And your pics? Just off the wall fantastic!
Old, cantankerous, and sorry if I piss you off - well, not really. Just enjoy!
