Friday Night
Rain is never a good thing for croc-watchers. Its a very open area, with many bars below street level, attracting flood water.
Last night after a solid days rain, it was as expected a pretty dire night for the beleagured barowners there.
Indeed, i don't know if its a temporary closure or something more sinister, but Orchid Bar was closed up and deserted. Orchid is located right in the middle of the soi and a good spot to sit and watch the action. With the difficulties at Moulin Rose too, it speaks volumes for the cash-strapped situation of these times.
