I've just been out to the bar to collect last nights takings. good job i had me water wings!
After 3 weeks solid rainfall, the drainage system just cant cope.
Most of 3rd Road, soi sainamyen, and rat-u-Thit were closed. Beach Road was 2 way traffic, although at 2 feet deep it was only passable with difficulty. I was amazed the old PCX kept going in 2 feet of water, but i eventually made it to bangla. Getting home was another story with diversions and long traffic queues along those roads that were actually open.

Weds Night
The rain eased at 9.30, and i made it to the bar about 10 o'clock. just the one intrepid customer, and i feared the worst. however, by 11 the place was buzzing, and we had a really quite good night. It was certainly fun. My thanks to everyone who braved the elements to come into town.
