You are absolutely right about flash being unflattering, direct flash is too harsh for portraits. My first thought was there was no evidence of flash being used with Sonya, there is no flash reflection in her eyes & no shadow anywhere. But you have rendered the pic so bright, I could only think of some soft light boxes being used.

I dial up the EV on my camera all the time, I boost ISO to 1600 regularly but for some reason, I stick with TTL flash metering when I take pics of the girls. I have learnt something here, between you & Lursauce (I think that's the spelling) I am going to give natural lighting a better go.

If you can get pictures like that, I won't die wondering to see if I can as well. Thanks Von Zest. BTW, what gear are you using? There some nice bokeh present in the pic, you don't get that with a bridge camera.

Have a look at the EXIF data. Combination of different things.

Back in the bar.....I love this place.......had a great time chatting to the girls.....Ming, Beer (gave these two some stockings) for tonights underwear party. Also Seya, always great company, Patricia, and Emma.

Met the TRA who is sharing the party with me tonight, his last night although I am not sure he is very pleased with me as there is a conflict of interests.

Some notable faces missing namely Oh and Annie. Hope they turn up tonight.

Threesome tonight me thinks :harhar:

A game of Killer Pool before buffet supper, and the winner was a slightly embarrassed NingNong - the embarrassment soon vanished when she opened her envelope and found a 1,000Bt note, though!
