Blimey, I wondered if the lightning strike was just a bit too convenient. The police will never uncover proof that it was anything but natural causes because they will never look for any other cause. It would be twice as tragic if those poor punters died to save someone's lease problem.Far be it for me to be suspicious, but the lease on Tiger is coming to an end shortly. That fire wouldn't be a coincidence, now would it?
Sounds like you need to go & treat yourself. After all this sadness you can take her with our blessing. Make sure we get photos & mini report though, we still live vicariously through your philandering...I really want to have those long legs wrapped around me!

Arsonist (interesting name!): recruitment is certainly a problem at the moment, and frankly i cant look a prospect in the eye and tell her she's going to earn any money just now. Its best we just wait until things pick up. We've had a few dodgy looking Cambodian LBs around looking for work. But with no work permit, thats just asking for trouble.
!
Thank you for the explanation Jimbo, common sense really I suppose.
Additionally I would have thought that any new recruits to your excellent establishment would find it tough going competing against so many seasoned campaigners already on the staff.
Yes my user name is a rather unfortunate one bearing in mind recent tragic events in Patong and so close to C&D's.
Sorry about that

The only experience that I can share might be to try and garner your troops and have them suggest that maybe a spring clean is in order to lift the atmosphere - you would be amazed what nothing more than a lick of paint will do will help lift spirits among the girls which of course gets imparted in the customers as their is new energy in the place. You seriously might find a 5000b investment in load of paint and some brushes is just the thing to re-energise the feeling.
Our own experience has been amazing in both Bangkok and Pattaya. Let the girls get motivated to assist and have them feel part of the joint solution. If you do it - don't forget to get the monks in and also have your spirit house re-blessed. Incredibly uplifting for all the staff. The timing is perfect and will be seen as a positive when all around is negative.
Best of luck for the future.

Turned out to be a real fun night, with two separate parties of aussie tourists dropping in out of curiosity. With a lack of mongers around, the girls turned on the charm and the fun to entertain them, and suddenly it was 2am and the BiB were angrily indicating we must close. Prats.
Seya got a lot of attention, justifiably!

I can only hope that this misfortune will bring a few more customers in your door. Though, given the tragedy that occurred I feel guilty even saying that.
Anyway Jim, good to see you posting and fighting the good fight with keeping C&D up & running there mate.
BTW, patiently waiting for a report on your experience with the very delectable newbie May.
