Dancewatchers condos in VT6 can't be beat as right in middle of Pattaya.Big plus is being able to enter and exit via Beach Road and Second Road, and short walk to Soi 8 and 7.
I also intend to stay for a time at Page 10 when I arrive in May for same location reasons, and rooms look really nice.

Oddly enough before reading this thread I had a chat with a mate last night on this exact topic.

He'd recently been to Patts and stayed at the Areca Lodge in the Evergreen suites and thoroughly enjoyed it, preferring the more lively atmosphere within there over the quieter demeanor of the LK Renaissance over the road.

Having also stayed in both establishments I much prefer the discretion and peace of the LK and the chaise longue is ideal for banging the arse off your choice for the night. :D

Location wise it's also hard to beat with everything you could possibly need within staggering distance.

I do enjoy the third floor by the pool which is great for those late night private dips...

Personally I am partial to being on Beach Road as I like being able to look out over the sea when I'm in Pattaya. Baboona (between Soi 3 & 4) and the former Pattaya Beach Resort (I think renamed Dragon something or other when I peeked in end of last year) right next to Soi 6 are two of my favorites. New rooms, great views, awesome location for daytime trips to Soi 6, and balconies for a little outdoor fun and a smoke. :stoner:

Woof, if you are a pool freak Page 10 definitely worth a try. Stayed there this past November and the rooftop pool is very nice with bar service (from a LB no less), wifi, and plenty of sun all day. Page 10 was very nice all in all but I still prefer the other two for the sea views and much more spacious balconies.

As with Petesie and a few others I prefer the Soi Diana area and the LK Renaissance. Close and convenient to whatever goes in Patts. I went through a stage of somewhere new each trip but there's nothing like going on 'auto pilot' when you are comfortable with your accommodation.

Always looking at information about options though!

LK Renn has been my home-away-from-home four out of my last five trips to Patts. No complaints. Did stay at Fraser on my last visit and it was alright. Anyone stayed at the LK Empress on Beach Road? I've read mixed reviews, so far; http://www.lkpattaya.com/empress/

And wasting all my time

Thanks Crackerjack.
Seems page 10 is really nice.
I'll make a visit there keeping it in mind for next trip.
From what I saw, for a long term stay, no Price break, Guess their business is going strong.
Got a Month Pricing at PBR which equates to 1100 Baht daily for a Deluxe room, can't beat this, plus proxinity to Diana, Buakhao and soi 13.
Although I wish they built a pedestrian crossing bridge over second road one of these days
So many LB So Little Time

Don't use their website. Go to Agoda.com and you can usually find rates starting at $50 per night.

Soi 13 has to be the best location in Pattaya. The street is lined with hotels, so take your pick.

Dynasty Inn Soi 13 balcony room overlooking the action....

I stay there every trip as the location seems to be in the middle of everything that has been mentioned..... The balcony rooms are well big enough and more than comfortable for short and longer stays.. As most of us will know the hotel itself is far from 5 star but suitably equiped for a comfortable stay. Hop skip jump to La Bamba and ST'S a short walk to Walking St and going the other way an easy stroll to Soi Diana and Bukhao......

If you are looking for a swanky hotel to spend time with a "special" girl with a good location to the action of Walking St is the Siam Elephant at the far end or jetty end of the strip its class all the way, not cheap but very nice and perfect proximity for a stroll down the strip....
