Sometimes you have a feeling when you just know something's going to happen, at least it helped break-up a little of the monotony that a 6½ hour boat ride can bring.
As the water level was not so high (seasonal) the boat stopped some distance from the shore and a smaller river-taxi was summoned to take a Khmer lady and her produce to her home.

As we aproached our docking location a tuk-tuk driver spotted us and could be seen buzzing along the raised bank to meet us and as soon as the boat docked. As it happened there was already a crowd of other tuk-tuk drivers there ready and waiting. Several boarded immediately before some people had even had a chance to disembark as they touted for customers.

En-route to our hotel in the tuk-tuk it began raining heavily and the driver pulled over to let the tied-up rain-flaps down.
We finally arrived at the Passagio Boutique Hotel, took the tuk-tuk driver's mobile phone number and checked-in. We dumped the bags and took to the pool almost instantly for a welcome swim, which was lovely and we had it to ourselves and it was located right beside our room one level below with a staircase leading down right next to our door, ideal.

We finally arrived in Siem Reap and the chosen accommodation was the Passaggio Boutique Hotel.
We'd booked a few days in advance by telephone to reserve the room, but it is available via Agoda too.
Our 'Superior Room' rate was $25 per night which included breakfast for two, AC, fridge, cable TV, Wi-Fi and kettle, plus daily instant coffee. It was a very well appointed room and a nice friendly hotel overall, plus the breakfast was very good. I would have absolutely no hesitation in staying there again.

After food we walked the town and market for a while and bought some supplies before heading back to the room to relax. Travelling can be quite exhausting and all that fresh air from the boat trip was taking it's toll. We were both knackered, but satisfied and happy.
In the room the wi-fi worked very well, 4 out of 5 bars for me on the laptop and a full set of bars for her on her Nokia x6. We cuddled and snuggled and ate Oreo's on the bed as a prelude to some sweet young LB loving. I fell asleep almost immediately afterwards around 20:30 with a sticky knob.
Siem Reap was off to an excellent start.

Our first full day in Siem Reap and it was the last day of June.
I awoke with a boner at 4am from such an early night the night before and felt well rested. I got up, had a pee and washed my tacky cock before returning to bed for my early morning cuddle.
We got up when breakfast was served and it was delicious. It consisted of 2x egg, bacon, 8x baguette pieces (between us), cheese, banana, mango, coffee and orange juice, a very nice and substantial offering, we ate the lot.

Over all today was just spent as a day exploring Siem Reap town itself, tomorrow was set aside for Angkor and the following day too, if need be. Siem Reap had certainly changed a lot from the small dusty town I saw 12 years ago on my first visit back in 1999.

She calls the tuk-tuk guy who brought us from the boat dock in order to hire him for the day tomorrow for our Angkor Archaeological Park visit and arranged for a 07:30am pick-up. I sat and tried to fathom a reasonable order of temple visits and made a list based upon information gleaned from my free Siem Reap and Angkor pocketguide. Nice idea, although other Angkor visitors were probably doing exactly the same.
