We went via a minimart on the way to the party to ensure we didn't arrive empty-handed, a bottle of Johnnie Walker Red ($12.50) and two big two-litre bottles of Coke ought to do it.
The party consisted of a gathering of about 15 to 20 people inside the house and we all sat on the floor and enjoyed home-cooked local food consisting of rice, shrimp, fish and duck and banter.
A very enjoyable time was had by all as we chatted, ate and drank. The cake was then cut by the birthday girl (who said she was 21yo, but according to Barang years she would be 20yo). We all got a slice of cake and a taste of the cream topping from her young 20yo lips before moving outside into the alleyway where neighbours and kids joined in as we drank, danced, joked and played. A most enjoyable time was had by all.
At around 9.30pm we mounted the bikes and headed over to Classic in time for the 10pm show where the birthday girl performed a turn. Pictures are not allowed inside Classic, so there's just a few before things got started.
We all shared 3 bottles of Johnnie Walker Red inside Classic with mixers (one bottle each as a gift from each of the Barang present) and the remainder stayed behind the bar for next time. The total bill came to $150 between us - Yikes! - But we all enjoyed ourselves.
"The Classic Night" is not the easiest place to find if travelling on your own or without someone who's been before, but it is located at 176, Trasak Paem (Street 63), corner of Street 288, 12302, Phnom Penh.
A little further info on Classic...
The Classic Night girls get paid $80 per month but they're restricted by management and cannot work anywhere else during their tenure. So Gigi, Cece and Lulu left at the beginning of December 2011 due to the restriction which allows them freedom now to visit and dance at Pontoon, amongst other places, where they get paid $15 per night for performing.

Having slept in today and missed Circuit's one free breakfast (she had it) it was lunch on the Riverside at Anjali Restaurant & Bar, which now has a range of free gym equipment situated opposite across the road on Sisowath Quay, it was under construction at the time.
I had a look in CTTNet Travel & Tours (as shown below), but later located another place which was a dollar cheaper, recommended by SwineCanine, which was AK Travel & Tours on Street 172.

Arriving back at AK Travel & Tours again I paid the $42 for the one month tourist visa extension. Visa extensions can be done at most, if not all, travel shops in Cambodia, but the tourist visa can only be extended once giving two months in total per visit. In another one month's time it would be necassary for me to leave the country and re-enter again.

Today was Khmer Gay Pride Day in Phnom Penh (10th May) but my body refused to get out of bed in a timely manner so she went alone. I eventually got out of my pit around 3pm and took a squinted walk down to Street 172 and had a full english breakfast at the Laughing Fatman. I'd called PDogg along the way and he met me there, although I'd eaten mine by the time he arrived as my stomach couldn't wait. He had a tofu burger & chips.
Fatman's Full English breakfast cost $4.75 and consisted of: 2 bacon, 2 sausage, 2 toast, 2 eggs, tomatoes, hash brown, beans, tea or coffee (HP Sauce available). It was nice but not great, but it certainly filled a hole: 7/10
After food I wanted to check out the Superstar Hotel directly opposite Fatman's on Street 172. I'd seen enough of the Circuit Hotel for now and fancied a change of scenery, it looked good enough and the price was right.
PDogg had a few errands do so we walked through the markets towards Street 136 and arrived at Nordic House where he booked rooms for two soon to be arriving BM's. Just as well he had some business to attend to there as I was about to drop a bombshell and desperately needed to visit the toilet. 15 minutes later and half a kilo lighter all our business was concluded.
We walked to the FCC and sat with a few beers on the roof terrace over-looking the Riverside, the FCC has happy hour between 5pm-7pm where all drinks are half-price. After the beers we took a casual stroll back towards his place. She called me and it turned out her bike had broken down near the Russian Market, so I said goodbye to PDogg and took a motodop to find her, the ride cost $1 + 100 riel.
When I got to her she'd already pushed her bike to a motorbike repair shop (I can't see a GG doing that) and although we had no idea what was wrong with it they said it would cost $10 to fix it and we could pick it up tomorrow, that was all stated before they saw me, the barang, so no problem.
Tuk-tuk back to Sorya Market (opposite the Circuit Hotel) where we buy snacks and drinks before retiring for the day back at the hotel for a relaxing evening in.

Blue Dolphin's Full English breakfast cost $3.75 and consisted of 2 bacon, 1 sausage, 2 toast+jam, 2 eggs, tomatoes, ham slice, hash brown, beans, tea or coffee (HP Sauce available) = 8/10. A more tasty breakfast than Fatman's and a dollar cheaper.
Later back at the Circuit Hotel the final straw breaks the camel's back in terms of the Wi-fi. My balcony room is unfortunately as far away from the stairwell as can be, which is where the Wi-fi antenna is located. So I sit on the stairs next to the antenna but it's still shit.
15 minutes later we're both surveying the rooms at the Super Star Hotel and I leave a $10 deposit. We'll check-in here and check-out of Circuit tomorrow.

Cheers BuddySome good street scenes of the old place DC, the cluttered sidewalks are a a nuisance for walking for sure, never saw a parking fine in the whole place.
You're so right about the clutter BB. On most of the side-streets a sidewalk walk is so often short-lived it's easier not to bother trying and just walk along the edge of the road as the shop fronts usually claim their bit of the footpath for themselves or it's used for parking.

The day has come to check-out of the Circuit Hotel and we're looking forward to the change of scene. Bags packed and room paid-up by 11:30 and us and the baggage are balanced on-board the bike as we gingerly make our way through the traffic to our new home, the Super Star Hotel.
Like many in this price range it is basic, but adequate. I don't yearn for fancy things so it suited me just fine and it had safe parking indoors for the bike overnight in the reception area. Many places do this, even the Paragon. The Circuit Hotel has a security guard on watch in the parking area under the hotel, so is also secure.
Super Star Hotel, Street 172 - $15 per day (or $13 per day if stay 30 days)
Includes: TV, AC, fridge, free Wi-Fi (good), hot water and the room was 10% bigger than the one at the Circuit Hotel.

The first morning waking up in the Super Star Hotel was a drizzly one, but having a choice of at least two decent locations for breakfast within spitting distance caused only a minor dilemma, so I chose Blue Dolphin next door again. The staff at Blue Dolphin while I was there are as miserable as fuck, despite a big smile and a "sok-sabai" (good day), but I soldiered on.
Back at the room afterwards it was a chance to be nosey and have a little spy on the locals opposite in their apartments. Being bored is not such a bad thing, long stays often have days filled with relaxation, doing nothing and being lazy. Looking at the locals doing little or nothing I was beginning to feel I was becoming one of them.

Much livelier after dark of course, but there was some activity. Street 104 makes a nice change from Street 136 and has a small concentration of bars on one short street and is less than 10 minutes walk away from 136.
