Thai government doesnt give a shit what the locals eat in the way of chicken anyway. All chicken grown for US market is steroid free to meet USDA requirements.
However the locals get the chickens that have been dosed with steroids.

I was at the cafeteria at work last year (USA) and they had Oriental Chicken on the menu. A woman behind me asked what that was and I said, "Meow." Didn't go over well with the customers or the cooks!
