As I enjoyed your pictures and text I felt I was strolling beside you up and down the soi's of the places you visit.
You've convinced me I should take a side trip to Hua Hin as somewhere to relax and renew, maybe at the end of a mad fortnight. I hope you're on a retainer from the Thai Tourism Board.
I had to smile when I noticed the name of the bar on the left in your last pic. I hope that dosen't apply to any girls who may work there.

I enjoy the way you deliver your TR's BB, and this is yet another high standard effort.

Thanks Uncle and good to hear from you again, it's been a while. There is an LB in the Starfish bar, and I doubt she is one.

After the meal we head over to soi Bintabaht, all of a 1 minute stroll. We check out a bar beside 7/11, International Butterfly, which is on a raise about 1 metre above the soi. We nickname it the "moral high ground". We get chatting to one of ours who works there, whose name escapes me. From there we head down to Hornblowers, which is owned by a good Aussie bloke who I have know for 7 years now. It is directly opposite Caddy shack, so we can sit back and watch the LB comings and goings in comfort.

The time flies and after a fair few beers with Rod it is time for us to head back around the square. As I am passing Caddy Shack I get chatting to Rinne, who was driving the motorbike earlier in the day with Rai on the back. She tries to lure us in, but all the good seats are full, so we press on. Putytat followed by Dav and May call it a night at different stages and before I know it NW and I are back on the beach with a table full of 7/11 booze and the rest of the night ahead. I am amazed to see some Thais arrive on the beach at 5 am to start their day's fun and us still on our night out. Amazing Thailand indeed.

By the time I awake, there is a text from Dav letting me know he has gone back to Pattaya for his last night in Thailand. He wanted to escort May back, rather than send her back alone and hang out with us for his last night, what a gentleman... He managed to get a direct minivan to Pattaya, 400 Baht each in a travel agent a few doors down from the Celtic heading towards the port, great deal. He said the trip took just over 3 hours.

Leaving the port a motorbike zips by, with an LB I recognise as Pop, whom I have chatted to on Facebook, as she is a friend of some of the gang in Caddy Shack. The bike stops at a restaurant on the water, and I introduce myself. She is a bit shy meeting me in person for the first time. A bit of trivial small talk ensues and she says she will be in the Caddy later. She shoots off with her friend on the back, and I continue my travels snapping anything that captures my eye.

Cheers and good to hear you are considering the place. Nice convenient spot to escape the madness of the bigger resorts but still something to do there. There's got to be a one liner in that Thai Wood photo...
