Now that's some swanky new uniform

was there last week and the place got a general make-over which

made it only look better.

New seats are great and comfortable and even the AC is not leaking anymore ...

furthermore the LB's are still looking good and willing ... no attitude ...

Bummer, I use to skip my evening shower and just sit at the bar instead. I always used to forget and sit under the AC.

Some new pictures taken over the last week and showing how the refurb is coming on. Refurb is due to finish on weekend of 2/3rd July when the bar has to close due to the election. The builders will be in over that weekend to complete the bar area itself and a couple of other bits and pieces like new podiums, seating areas etc.

Ant, Cream and Cookie. Cream is wearing different outfit as she is now one of 3 girls (the other two being BEER and CHERRY) that now undertake a PR role - i.e welcoming customers, getting them seated, drinks, etc. Basically they are the 'buffer' to prevent hostess staff surrounding and hounding customers. Its always a difficult call - do the hostesses hold back or surround en-masse. The answer to me would be obvious but apparently customers have complained that they actually like the surrounding. Not sure how well it will work - but in the meantime, its great to be looking at the collective legs of the the 3 PR girls as they totter around the bar wearing very short little suit outfits.

as part of the ramp-up to the new bar area going in on the 2nd and 3rd July (when Guess is closed for the election), a major new signing has taken place. JENNY has now been appointed as Manager of the bar and she arrived in typical Bangkok style in a Tuk Tuk.
