HI everbody
I am going to Bangkok for the first time in February
Can you help I read there is a Guess Bar II and Guess Bar III
where are they located, adress etc
are open during day time
which one is best

The bars that these names refer to are located on Sukhumvit Road, just a few mins walk around the corner of Soi 4.

Using the name of Guess Bar is no way a reflection of the quality or quantity of girls working in them and there is no association or affiliation to the original Guess Bar, which is located at the far left of the Rajah Hotel car park.

Do not get too excited, they are just temporary street bars which get set up nightly and have just a few rather less than attractive ladyboys working in them. They remain open into the early hours after NEP and Guess Bar have closed.

On the opposite side of Sukhumvit Road, starting at Soi 3/1 and almost all the way down to Asoke there are numerous other temporary food stalls and bars where ladyboys can often be found, plus plenty of street action (with plenty of ladyboys, plus horrific looking black girls) well into the early hours.

Was there again last night for a drink

When I arrived, I was the only customer in the place. Bar tender is great. Not one girl approached. 15 minutes later a Chinese guy walks in to the bar (reminds me of a joke) and three of the four LBs run up to him. I'm done with the place. Really PT, am I THAT repulsive?

Kinda know how you feel....last week I was in there with some friends while sweet talking Sherry for an hour and buying her a couple of drinks.......when I posed the question about the cost of a roll in the hay back at my place for the remains of the day, I was quoted 750Baht bar fine and 4000 to her.

Clearly I am not her type

Cherry is a service staff member - she is not a hostess - the bar actually dont want her barfined otherwise nobody to handle drink orders. Hence the barfine is higher.

As to her expectation of 4,000b well that sounds just wierd - I had read she took 1000b for a ST on another forum. But as we all know - trying to understand the logic is like a layman reading tea leaves.

She just probably thought that big bulge in PT's pocket was his wallet...which would have been correct. Got a crazy idea. If she's that popular put her on staff and train someone else to wait tables

Personally haven't experienced a throng at the bar waiting be served. BTW, that bar tender is worth his weight in gold.

On my last visit to Guess Bar,I arived just after 12 the advertised opening time to find it closed . I went for a drink in a closeby bar to wait for it to open,I then went back at 1pm and it was still closed.
I decided to wait in the Rajah htel until it opened which was 2 pm.
I had wasted 2 hours hanging about and when I went in Ex and another Lb were clearing up the previous nights bottles etc.
I had a good time with Ex however it was lucky she was there as there wasn't exactly much choice with only 2 people on duty.
For a place which promised so much I feel that its reputation is beginning to be damaged and people will just not bother.
