What have you got to lose jossan apart from half an hour of your life :? Just sit yourself down on the sofa, order a beer and make up your own mind.
Don't poke your head inside the door before retreating to another place, give the staff a chance to feel comfortable with you and you with them

Stopped in again last nite, this time quite early (maybe 7pm) and things were better. Still not crowded by girls were still coming in from the night and i got a warm reception. In fact, one of those warm receptions is still saleeping in my loom.

Still, "give the staff a chance to feel comfortable with you and you with them...????" WTF, its a LB bar, not a blind date. Attitude and lineup the first night was inexcusable. Yea, it's only 30 minutes out of your life, but its more and more a low quality 30 minutes, I'll spend it elsewhere.

I understand your feelings there mate as i experienced the same feelings earlier this year.... Then on a more recent venture the bar had been promoting and recruiting heavily and the vibe, service and experince was the best i'd had at Guess......

Lately for what ever reason the promoting seems to have dried up (just before high season) and there have been no posts of recent about the bar until now......

I hope things improve as it was flying not long back but i do understand how hard it is to keep the vibe going, but BKK needs this place its a great meeting place with some real talent and its unique compared to the other bars around the area....

I went in last month and was a bit annoyed that the midday opening was actually 2 pm that day 5555

However the time spent upstairs with Ex more than made up for that

I have only been in early afternoon and had the pleasure of 3 of the finest,Joy,Eats and Ex.
So yes it can be a big hit

I just don't know anymore...seems like some of us gentlemen are getting hard to please...first we don't lke it when girls jump on us when we walk into a bar, now we don't like it if they stay away from us ?....

No Joy and Eats were on separate occasions back in the Soi 1 days,Ex was above the new location.

Im my many previous (at least thirty) experiences at Guess Bar while entering alone, I usually found that a lounge on the sofa with a beer was {usually} quickly followed by a ladyboy upsides rattling my nuts
That manoeuvre works for me every time.

Agreed, always used that manoeuvre myself. But the pickings are slim there and I wasn't thrilled by what sat down next to me.

Cascades and Temptations, on the other hand, were both great. Different vibe, of course, but great girls.

Had and interesting chat with Tong, the bartender. I told him how much I liked the bar and had such a good time with the girls there, but didn't go as much this trip because they just didn't have the quality or numbers. He said (as reported here) that they brought a bunch of girls from Pattaya but they just didn't work out.

He did advised me on which current girls to see (Ant and Gate) and, since he and I are big fans of Ink, I figured I should take him up on his recommendation. Alas, Gate, IMHO, is looking a little ragged, and Ant was just finishing up a 10 hour shift. So I barfined Cherry and had a terrific time. I actually originally asked her for ST which she seemed to want, but we were having such a good time, we both agreed LT was better. She's sorta bitchy and a wise ass, but really fun if you get her in the right mood i think. I guess I did.

When I went in november I was a bit pissed off that the advertised opening time was 12 midday but it did not open until 2 oclock and there were only 2 girls then.
