After those two lak lustre performances the astonishing thing is that with a victory over the battling Slovenia, England could still top the group :shock:

Fabio has to make wholesale changes in this last group match, clearly Lampard & Gerard do not work together, I would certainly drop Lennon and Hesky, I mean how the fcuk can you possibly field a 'striker' who has not scored since February :loco:

Rooney is so out of form that he is counter productive and easy for opposing defenders to mark and cancel out. Defender Glen Johnson scares the shit out of me everytime he is on the ball in his own box and similar sentiments apply to Jamie Scouser.....thank fcuk he was booked and misses this vital next match

And as for John Terry....did he actually play last night :?

I would drop Rooney and Heskey. Give Crouch and Defoe a go. I would also start the game with Cole and Carrick in place of Gerrard and Barry.

Johnson was awful, and now we are paying the price for bringing only one right back.

But, there seems to be a fear of dropping big names, so this won't happen.

I may be a bit bias, but I didn't think Lennon was the worst player on the pitch last night, he often found himself on the left or having to cut in to help Gerrard (who couldn't even make a 5 yard pass) and Johnson.

With all this said, we could get out of the group with a draw, and a win would mean we win the group :loco:

And by winning the group we'd probably get the Jerrys in the next round..

, i could not believe that he did not play d james against the yanks, kept playing heskey, and why is he not entertaining joe cole.
but what do we know lads, fabio is getting paid millions for these great :shock:

decissions.
not only england though, there have been a few dissapointments so far, spain and france.
we just have to get used to the fact that the huge gap in class is not there anymore, between the so called larger nations and ths smaller ones.
it is getting like that every team that qualifies for a major tournament , there are no more donkeys.

Just because Capello is shite doens't make Sven any better! Both are club managers, and can't cut the mistard at international level (although Capello isn't out yet).

And you remember the way the TV, Tabloids and the Engerland fans treated Sir Bobby dont you Kim

David Beckham got "vilified" from the same "shower of shit" after his sending off against Argentina in the 1998 World Cup Finals and became the "scapegoat" , even flags of him hanging from a rope.

So thats why I personally dont give a "flying fig" about the England football team, bollox to em :redcard:

Its also looking like another Man United player will became this tournaments "scapegoat" too :loco:

Some credit should go to the opposition. Both USA and Algeria worked a lot hard than England and shut us down all over the pitch.

I think England would actually play much better against a bigger team. The pressure would be off and there'd be more space to play.

The test now is for Capello to re-instal the confidence and morale, something which wouldn't have been a problem for a Bobby Robson (or Harry Redknapp :rock:

).

They should throw 11 shirts in the middle of the dressing room before the next match and say if you want to be proud and play for your country, pick a shirt up and go play your best, if not there is a coach waiting to take the rest of you home
