Anybody got any up to date experience of such things?I know you have got to pay some kind of guarantee etc.
I guess you got the concerns that if it don't work out that she can screw you over.Entering the p4p scene in your country,and the worst scenario is you get copped for living off immoral earnings.
Any thoughts?

This is true, it mainly depends on your country (which I don't see listed in your profile). I sat through a presentation by the guy that runs Key Visa on Soi LK Metro at a Pattaya Expats Club meeting. He was discussing GGs and had reasonable success at getting visas to the UK but you had to do a lot of work to make it happen. Some European countries are easier. The US is almost hopeless. You should be able to Email Key Visa or one of the may other visa companies and get some real answers.depends which county
I have no affiliation with Key. But since Darren at Key is sometimes invited to speak at the expat club meetings I assume he has some credibility. I used him once to get my tourist visa extended 30 days as I was too lazy to do it myself.
You also might find something useful at the ThaiVisa forum.

Think about what you could get in LOS for the price of her plane ticket.

If not UK look at a Shenzen 3 month visa - easy to get for stipulated countries.
I'd make sure you know someone pretty well before doing it though.

Available for:
* Austria
* Germany
* Belgium
* Denmark
* Finland
* France
* Greece
* Iceland
* Italy
* Luxemburg
* Norway
* Portugal
* Spain
* Sweden
* The Netherlands
The purpose of the visit must be leisure, tourism, or business. Upon the issuance of the visa, the visa holder is allowed to enter all member countries and travel freely throughout the Schengen area. It is strongly recommended to plan your journey within the timeframe of the Schengen Visa as extensions can be very difficult to obtain, thus forcing you to leave to stay in compliance with the Schengen rules and regulations. A Schengen visa allows the holder to travel freely within the Schengen countries for a maximum stay of up to 90 days in a 6 month period.

First, a visa for an LB will be almost impossible to get for the Schengen space. Maybe if you make a declaration that you will cover any expenses with the LBs travel, medical insurance, etc.
However, if you succeed to get a visa for your sweetheart, be prepared for BIG problems. You never know what there are into. I would advise to spend some longer time with your LB in Thailand first, to see how the relationship works.
Anyway, I think you are looking for BIG financial and emotional problems.
