After about 20 years in this scene, I have to admit that 90% of the time, IMHO I must add, that the ladyboy only wants your money and nothing else. Well, that in the first place is how they earn their living.
However there are some cases where they get attracted to you in an almost loving sense.
For example, I've been seeing a particular ladyboy for nearly two years and recently the affection seems more natural, the conversation seems more long term - like higher education plans. (She's already a business admin grad.) and all in all one can detect a closer relationship. She now goes around telling her friends in the bar I'm her boyfriend and actually blushes when she does it.
And lately, money isn't such a big issue.
But I'm just taking it one week at a time as I'm fully aware of her "job" and actually not too sure how to proceed. A bit embarrassing but after so many years of mixing up with "thieves" you get stuck when you meet someone different.
Any advice?

Btw I posted this to see if there was a different response from members from this and the other forum to the same question.

My original included the following tongue in cheek although quite truthful experiences.

1. She takes photo's of you and keeps them on her phone. Even worse if you look like Quasimodo on a bad hair day.

2. Your bathroom suddenly has enough femine beauty products to stock a small store and you haven't even asked her to move in!!!

3. She takes to wearing pj's - okok not pj's exactly but a silk slip that barely covered her ass and looked like it was painted on - but it was def clothing and worn to bed albeit briefly.

4. Enquiries are made about that gym you were going to join.

5. Enquiries are made about excessive gym use which make you completely irressistable to every LB within 500 meters - this would be a bad thing apparently.

6. Daily briefing by text on exactly what is going on.

7. Her friends start treating you like their younger brother.

8. "don't be silly man - much too expensive to buy" is heard - I had to have a small sit down to recover from the shock of it.

9. Invited home to check out the farm and family.

10. Last night tears in the bar, in front of her friends before you zoom off to make a crust so you can come back.

I think other possible indicators might be:

1.Not working in the bar when your in town.My gal says shes off visiting family and we avoid the place like the plague.I never actually met her in the bar,and have never visited,so we never had that initial bar fine malarky to deal with.We met at an internet cafe.

2.Frequent chats on messenger via cam

3.Calls and texts

4.When you know she ain't bullshitting you.

5.When she tells you about farang customers and it don't bother you

6.When you drag her to JSB or the New England bar as its now known and she gets pissed off when you bump into your x.

7.When the payment goes on a backburner and your just enjoying each others company

But guys do heed the warnings of ohers.Avoid getting ripped off.Personally I would never send money .

But then again and in hindsight my comments were rather harsh on some of you guys and respected members who do see a future in a long term ladyboy romance, indeed I know a few of you are already going down that route and therefore perfectly entitled to view things differently to us confirmed serial LB shaggers.

I was never offended and never am when this topic arises and the opposite opinion to mine is aired. We all see things from a different stand-point and have different agendas and likes/dislikes re: seeing a regular girl or mongering.

There are positives and negatives on both sides and it's up to the guy to weigh up his freedom to hunt and boom-boom versus the comfort, laziness and security of having a regular more permanent squeeze. Of course any girl you want to be your 'regular' should be chosen with care, the negative generalisations can be frustrating but it is sound advise in the main.

For me to be alone unless I go out and hunt, guard my valuables, be disappointed etc. has become a little tiresome and I prefer being with someone who I trust not to steel from me, presses my buttons precisely and knows exactly what I like and dislike, plus good daytime company and a guaranteed ride home when I'm pissed is my preferred option.

But I do miss the freedom to monger freely from time to time and relish the occasional opportunity, such as a recent night in Bangkok...
