After watching my little raft float away on the tide, it was time to light a lantern....

...Disaster! Apparently i'm in for a turbulent year in my love life, as my lantern failed to get above tree level, and caused great consternation as it threatened to set light to the whole damn tree!

After that trauma, i went up Bangla, which was mobbed with tourists, to C & Ds.

The girls had, as usual, gone to great efforts to look the part:

Most of them had rented their costumes. For the newbies, it meant putting their mobiles in hock, or pledging future earnings ! It always warms my heart the way they go to such expense for this type of event, and i really hope they re-coup their money quickly. Luckily, there are some generous warm-hearted guys always around C & Ds who i'm sure will do their bit.

hi Jim,

once again had a great time cavorting with all the girls from C&D's , unfortunately back in the land of Oz now , but many thanks in catching up again and hope to be back early next year.

This trip was only able to sample the delightful wares of Ging and Eye ,but for a butterfly like me that just had to do.
