For the friends and past customers of C&D bar, I have received word last evening of the passing away of Nick Jackson. Nick apparently passed away in his sleep at home last Thursday night. Nick was a previous partner with NingNong, before Jim, and more recently a part-time manager at the bar. Nick has been doing one of his favorite things lately, taking people fising. I will report here if I learn of a memorial service.

Nick made me feel very welcome when I visited the bar last year. He immediately bought me a drink upon meeting me. From the conversation we had, I think boating was his passion. May he rest in peace.

Ning Nong is busy at the moment arranging the funeral, etc. I'll keep you all posted when I have more info.

Just spoken to a distraught NingNong,who found Nick in his bed. I'll be back in thailand as soon as i can make the arrangements.
Please bear with us during the next few days, while we deal with this tragedy.
