I think its about time to start a new thread. The other one has been running a full year now and is getting a bit unwieldy.

Oh its good to be back!

Thanks to all who kept the old thread going while i was away, especially as those that made the effort to post pics.

Last night was the festival of Loy Kratong, and the girls went to great lengths, and some considerable expense, to dress in traditional costume. They looked amazing, and were easily the most spectacular in Patong.
As a result, the bar was very busy with mongerers and tourists alike, all snapping away with their cameras

Jimbo, good to see you're back home safe and sound! Just in time to avoid the cold winter in UK!

Your new Canon G10 is working very well! Sharp focused photos and good flash! Just be sure to keep it in a ziplock bag in case of downpours or Songkran! :D
