On a short trip to LOS, Oct 10-18. Managed to get a quick visit to Guess Bar and take some photos.

Jay has become actively involved in the bar again, which is a good thing. She told me there are about 8 new ladies on staff, plus some a few of the old staff have left as already reported, Eye and Eats.

I am currently on a road trip with my regular lb up in Chiang Rai, so the updates won't happen at once.

For those Deer fans, she is still working, was on a day off when I dropped in.

Beer and Joy are back from Singapore and Beer told me that she tried to return shortly after her latest 1 month stint and was informed by the immigration officer to "go back home and take a holiday for a couple of months!" so she be in Guess for another 6-8 weeks or so, along with Joy.

Here we go, 1st up is Moo, wielding a mean stick
2nd pic is Ant (new lady) and Fah
3rd pic Mimie and Poy (both new)

Ant is quite petite probably around 5' tall.

Will be back in the Bar on the 3rd December 1 hour after i hit BKK as usual. gave Le fexix the push staying at Ibris. then on my return from Pattaya will try the Grand Buisness inn. Looks the buisness just a stroll over the road to my fav eatery Zanzibar. Thank's for the shout on that place.

Guess Bar is one of the main reasons I like to have a few days in Bangkok at the end of my trips.

I enjoy the laid back feel (of the bar) and the girls are good hosts without pressuring you to buy drinks or barfine them and for a LB newbie like myself I feel comfortable there.

I suppose next trip I should actually get around to barfining a few of them!

I hope the bar goes from strength to strength - I was there late September and to say it was quiet would be an understatement - had a beer and left and there was only one other guy in there playing pool.

I was very dissapointed and didn't go back and a couple of people I met felt the same way. The bar really needs hands on management.

I only say this because 90% of the time I would far prefer to spend my time in a bar like that if it was well run and spend my money there when in BKK rather than do the Nana shark cage.
