Quit 28 years ago.
Never smoked heavily but was stoned quite regularly.
I don't mind being in the company of someone smoking as long as they make an effort to keep the smoke away from my direction, after all, I don't think they'd appreciate it if every time I took a sip of beer I poured some on their head.

The smell of full ashtrays is up there for the worst smell of all time.
I think poo, puke or corpses smell worse.

How about the smell of napalm in the morning?
It's funny, ever since they banned smoking in bars and clubs in the UK, my clothes always smell of farts in the morning. I miss those filthy smokers...

I started smoking at 12 years old (not regularly at the beginning).
I stopped smoking almost 10 years ago (NYE) and i'm glad i did.
I restarted practicing sports (less drinks + healthy food) and i feel much better.
I should learn from you josh how to quit smoking... tried so many times and failed
So i gave up in giving up smoking

It wasn't easy... And i don't have any recipe.
The hardest part for me was that i had to nearly stop seeing some friends (chain smokers; cigarettes and spliff) ... because i coundn't bear the smell of smoke anymore and i didn't want to succumb...
What i enjoyed in that change was that i was able (after a few months) to run a couple of km without being completely exhausted and without spitting my lungs and today i'm a much better screw
