Another Thai favourite which always takes me 'home' ...

(the track starts 30 seconds in)

Edit: Just added some translation for the chorus...

luerk-krai-dee-woy
not easy to choose who is best

bauk-nhoi-dai-mai
help me/tell me

proh-wa-hua-jai
because my heart

chun-me-nheung-duang-toa-nun
I have only one heart

kon-gao-gor-yung-ruk
still love the first love

kon-mhai-gor-sum-kun
new love is still important

Going right back to 1992, this song was at the top of the Thai hit parade for many weeks. Every where I went it was being played, beer bars, taxi cabs, shopping malls. Jessica Jay singing Broken Hearted Woman

This one had myself and BigMick singing along for a few nights in La Bamba. And let's face it, the whole LB scene can be summed up as "The Show"

2006 I saw Thai superstar Tata Young (she has an American Father) in concert at the Impact Arena (25 miles north of Bangkok).
Took one of my favourite genetic girls with me having purchased some expensive seats about four rows back. The energy and atmosphere created by that girl and her adoring fans was quite sensational, when she belted out this tune which was recorded for a Bollywood movie I thought the roof was coming off  awesome live performance.

This one for me always drifts me back to the land of Thai. I've loads of Thai tracks at home and this is one of the girl's favourites too. Heard it everywhere last year...
