Forget about SP, Rio's got it all.

Just got back from 3 weeks in Rio, not Los but close enough

Avenue Atlantica is Not where it's at...Lapa is the most convenient and safe bet. Just hop in a taxi and head over, don't worry about walking around there at night (within reason). Plenty of quality girls.

Another sure bet is by the Gloria train station. Go by there in the daylight to get situated with the metro and area, then come back and you're good. Best selection I've seen in Brazil--just roaming the streets!!

With little or no portuguese, consider going to a love hotel (girls typically will have to give their id's and all around safer environment). Do not get down in the streets or go to anyone's house unless you really got to.
