A place that seems to never get mentioned is Ao Nang down beside Krabi. Granted it is a fairly quiet area, but it is a good location for those who may like cliff climbing or for those that want to take a LB for a relaxing time. It has some nice beaches, and is an ideal place to base oneself and visit the local area by long tail boat.

Entertainment wise, there are 2 smallish bar complexes, and it was in one of these that I met Aum. Great personality, and fun to hang out with. She had her own bar there, so I would pop in there for a few beers at night, and then hang out with her and her friends on the massage mats on the beach in the day time and eat fruit.
