I'll tell ya what KK, I'm surprised you have not caught that swine flu judging by some (certainly not all) of the pigs you associate with in search of the well endowed members of the Thai transsexual community
It's a tough gig trying to please both the "Mayor of Pattaya" and "Anthony70" simultaneously.
Remember, beauty is only skin deep, it's just that some of the girls I meet on my travels have got particularly 'thick skin'.

First few shots are of Anne who I ran into a couple of weeks later at Obsessions/Kittens A go go. She was waving at me from across the room, and I didn't recognise her until she came and sat beside me. Bought her a drink, and we had a bit of a chat, and I thought she was looking good in her white bikini.
The next girl Kae, was working at Pooks Swan Bar prior to commencing at La Bamba, and I must say immediately caught my eye. Unfortunately she was yet another I didn't manage to barfine, however as most of you regular mongers would appreciate, it is extremely difficult to hook up with all the beauties on offer when you are only in town for a few weeks, and only have one penis. Speaking of cock ups,....sorry I mean penises, Alis did tell me that Kae was blessed in that department, although I did read a report elsewhere which indicated that she was struggling to play an active role owing to hormones :?:

Whilst at the bar, Fridgemagnet & his girlfriend Nova from Bali (who I met briefly the night before) popped in for a drink.
There is definitely something special about these Bali girls if Nova & Mary are anything to go by.
Nova was happy to pose for a few photos, so I made the most of the opportunity...

I remember when I first met her, she had a real warmth about her, but was very much a fish out of water.
With all that in mind, it was amazing to see how she had transformed into this gorgeous little sex bomb.
This next group of photos featuring May were amongst my overall favourites from this trip.

Last couple of girls I snapped on the evening before 'moving on' were Naam & Chin.
Naam has the most adorable face IMHO, and whilst I don't claim to know her particularly well, she has been at the bar for some time already, and has been given the 'stamp of approval' by Donnykey in the past.
Chin seemed to be behaving herself (for the moment) and appears to still have a few admirers. Possibly not everyones style, but I think she has something about her when she's not having a meltdown.

Still at La Bamba, and Alis is slowly mastering the perfect Gin & Tonic....

Great LaBamba pics KK....I agree Chin has that "come to bed" look about her ....and Nam definately has my "stamp of approval" she will be high on my list again next trip.....And May is a bundle of fun I really like her bubbly personality....Great bar La Bamba I agree...

KK I've noticed you are using a Canon G10, this is in a bridge category right? in between a point and shoot and a SLR. whats your opinion on these types of cameras?
Hi Drift Spunk,
This is the first trip I've made use of the Canon G10, and overall I'm pretty happy with the results, although I feel as though I'm probably not using the camera to it's full potential with regard to all the manual settings on offer, etc.
If you compare the photos in this report (Canon G10) with those taken during my trip in August 2008 (Canon IXUS 850), you can probably make up your own mind about each cameras performance.
In regards to the 'bridge' category of Digital Cameras, I guess it depends on what you are after.
Personally, I want a camera I can take to the bars each night, so it needs to be relatively portable. More importantly, I want a camera that is going to take decent quality shots, especially in low light situations.
There are plenty of smaller, more compact digital cameras about, however I believe that the Canon G10 beats the majority of them with regards to image quality.
Obviously an SLR camera would be the ideal scenario, however carting one around with you every night would more than likely beome a bit daunting.
In summary, the 'bridge' cameras, are a nice compromise between the compact 'point & shoots' and the more bulky SLR style cameras.
Cheers

I say that because taking the volume of pics you seem to take requires the camera to be shooting ready at all times.
Great job so far. Your coverage of La Bamba Bar has been very kind, thank you. And to think your trip report has, so far, only reported the first few days of your trip. Only scratched the surface.
