Not in the slightest bit concerned about avatars however, it would perhaps be nice if there was some sort of association between the chosen nick name & avatar.
Surely you could have found a Pink Panther on the internet PP rather than the skull & crossbones :?

pinkpanther, i am not a massive doctor who fan, just thought it was original, but obviously not 
just to please you pink panther, the forth rail bridge is a engineering masterpiece, considering it was built over 120 years ago, not just revolutionary in design, but very pleasing on the eye, it is also used today, on the busy fife to edinburgh route, no i am not a bridge spotter, but going with pentire, hopefully i chose something which i have thought about, even though nothing to do with my nickname ,but with a historic landmark near my home, which i have crossed many a time is this better pinkpanther ? let me know

Your flashing $$$ can be very distracting.
As you say, you don't like flashing avatars, your $$$ is directly in the eye-line during scrolling through threads.
I dislike it, but I don't hate it.
My favourite 3 are sev7en, kliome, and dixon cox.

i really do not dislike any avatar, only when members cannot be bothered to post an avatar, that bothers me, as i find it amusing when i come across something original, so members with no avatar, get your one posted now

I've tried on numerous occasions to post avatars but the system rejects them all for size reasons. So after 20-30 tries, I just gave up.
