I'm back in Patong now. Normal service will be resumed, with pictures, tomorrow at 3 pm local time.

Oh, and its sooo good to be back! UK was typical autumn: some truly beautiful days with glorious sunshine. Perfect for long walks and a game of golf. But others were dark, damp and gloomy. And everything's so feckin expensive! And then the clocks went back! OMG, awful.

Observe "the look" in the third photo.
I did not know what this meant at the time the photo was taken, as I was actually taking the picture of the delightful Peng (who I had spent the previous night with) ... but was later to find out what 'the look' meant - for three nights in a row
