Not a bad pic Zoliboy, but i dont think that qualifies as a smile. a grin maybe, or grimace?

Boarhog: lurkers may sound creepy, but often they're scared to post for fear of being set upon by the usual forum bullies. I've had several this season arrive at the bar confessing to be lurkers, and have turned out to be really nice people. I always encourage them to start posting and not worry about the wolves.
The other objection is that for many of them, english is not their first language, and they worry about how their posts will come across. We've all seen many posters from continental Europe get set upon when their posts come across the wrong way.

Tuesday Night

Spent most of the night waiting for the police to tell us whether or not it would be ok for us to open tonight (Weds): Queens Birthday. They finally got the message to us at 1am that it would be ok! Finally, we have a Governor who almost understands tourism! But he could have let us know in good time so that said tourists knew where they stood, not to mention the bars and their staff!

I hear ya Jimbo, in fact thought your tipster may not have known English very well and may have misunderstood what was offered him. How did the 3:00 shakedown go last night?

Pond has settled in and made plenty of friends, and not cramping anybody's style or pinching their customers. In fact some of them could do with giving her a break and let her have a crack at one or two. But they're thais, so "gentlemanly conduct" ain't gonna happen, is it?
