And that silly boing sound to let them know it's the punchline. In a country where the educational system stomps on inquisitive minds or any sort of questions from students, it miserably fails to encourage people to think for themselves.4. thai katoey sense of humour, forget wit n irony, lets laugh at somebody falling or slipping on a bannana peel for 4 decades.
.. Added to their blatant non-PC attitude we are left with a nation predominantly filled with fuckwits who think a dwarf with a stick-on moustache is the dogs bollocks.
What can put you off a ladyboy?

However, I do agree with Dixon Cox's view of the Thai educational system - which unfortunately is part of the problems the country currently faces.

I've been trying to catch up on all the threads after having been away from here for a long time. In looking at this thread, it hit me how much I miss Brit's comments.
BTW, I voted "too masculine".

But lest we lose the forest for the trees, I include this photo of what I DO like about ladyboys, and what makes it worthwhile to me. (reposted with BB's permission).
Like anything, look for the bad and you'll find it, 100% of the time.

I was up in Isaan with a GG and I met her family, they got out the family photo album. All of a sudden her and her parents started laughing, they had found the funniest pic in the album. What was it? .....A monkey f**king their pet dog.

Seems to me that the 3 Stooges had and still have plenty of fans, the French are big fans of Jerry Lewis. Humor is a cultural thing and a nation shouldn't be judged on that.
However, I do agree with Dixon Cox's view of the Thai educational system - which unfortunately is part of the problems the country currently faces.
its not the educational system its the nations ''greng jai'' cultural concept, what i call ''greng lie'', u see they worship morale over challengeing it like we do in the west, that allows every average dumb fuck to be good ol top judge who ''doesnt judge'' others by saving face, iin the end it blows up and the thais chimp out or get vindictive. its not the school entirely, its the fundemental saving face lie the thai people luv telling themselves, it allows them to live life as observes of there present incarnation as buddist with all its karmas while not doing anything to make it better or actually process there real shame they self inflict , all b.s and fuckwit promoting. when i hear westernes speak of transexual yabba taking prostitues saving face i just have to laugh.
