as like others, she had ended up at the wrong LK group hotel. Despite telling Fon (and several others during my trip) that it was the LK Renaissance Hotel, located in Soi Diana opposite the ‘New Orn Bar’, they all end up at one of the other more established LK hotels in the same area. In all fairness, the word “Renaissance” is not an easy one for a Thai with a limited command of the English language.

Try LK Pavillion. I have problems EVERY singlr time calling for some to come visit. They end up the other LK´s or soi Bronkow for some readon, pavillion doesnt eben have a damn soi!!! Try explaing that to the lb or taxi guy. Soi sam or pattaya tai, doesnt matter, they never find it. The security guy is my friend, i tip him good to help me, but he´s englsih is worse than my thay. I have to let my vivsitors tag along witk kliomes and PT´s, since we stay same floor room next to eachoter

A mistake

The only reason I didn't take Rita was that it always seemed to be the early hours of the morning when we crossed paths, and I had already completed a short time and basically wasn't horny enough.

The moral of the story is be particularly clear and precise when giving a Thai the address and directions to your hotel if you are staying at one of the LK group, as there is potential for confusion.

Day 8 cont...

Previously during the day I had purchased a Neil Young DVD for 150 Baht, as there was a DVD player in the room, and thought it would be cool to make use of it. When it refused to play I ejected it, and found it had a massive crack in it.

Attempted to return it later the same day, but they flatly refused, telling me that I had broken it while removing it from the case. I could see I wasn’t going to win this one, so for the sake of 150 Baht, I left the faulty DVD with the shop owner and simply walked away, purchasing the identical DVD later that day elsewhere for only 100 Baht.

Early in the evening, walked over to La Bamba where I met up with Rossco for a couple of G&Ts before heading over the street together for a nice set menu meal at the little French Restaurant, Le Stroganoff. Returned to La Bamba after we’d eaten, then grapped the baht bus towards Walking St.

Day 8 cont...

Briefly surveyed Walking Street before popping into Ezy Bar where Karl was glued to his barstool driving his computer. We chatted a bit, but with the music blasting, and his accent I’m not sure what we actually discussed?

My attention was soon drawn to Peaw who I had spoken with and photographed previously in Lita’s Bar, and made an executive decision to pay her barfine and leave. I told Peaw I’d like a quick drink in Jenny Star Bar before heading back to the hotel, so we sat ourselves at the bar and ordered.

I soon spotted Noon, and asked if I could take a couple of quick photos, but to my surprise Noon initially refused, and proceeded to tell me that I had spoken badly about her on the forum. :?

Given I’m always the one sticking up for her and singing her praises, still not sure how she came to this conclusion. After a little bit of a chat, Noon obliged and I snapped a couple of quick pictures. I think Laptop or Monkeyman better set Noon straight about Koykaeng’s ongoing support for her on this forum since day 1.
