6 days for me now! I just love when its less that a week before I set sail.
As kids we're not taught how to deal with success; we're taught how to deal with failure. If at first you don't succeed, try, try again. If at first you succeed, then what?

Due to work commitments it's a quick one to Bangkok, Phuket in Nov/Dec.

Next year when I have more time and leave I plan to immerse myself in Pattaya for a reasonable time and get to as many of the ladyboy bars I've read good reports about on the Forum as possible.

Hopefully at the end of that I'll be experienced enough to consider my apprenticeship over.

Arrived this morning at 8.15 in Pattaya. Here for 5 weeks. I am now in transition to semi retirement and have rented a house here for 12 months. Will be here 3 weeks out of every 4 for the next year.

Will see how exciting it all is after 12 months in the mad house. Beats the shit out of Australia!! Falang bitches; been there done that!!

That's very interesting putytat, maybe diarise some of it in a seperate thread.

I, for one, would be interested even in the most mundane things about staying long-term in LoS :)

Can I add my supporting comments, DC. Would like to see that sort of diary; as Paultain's initial posts put a whole different light on life in LOS.

Yes putytat, ditto for me with DC's and triat45's comments. We want it all, no detail would be too boring to help understand the ups & downs of transitioning to living in LOS full time.
