30 weeks tomorrow (not that I'm counting!)

Shit!. Just realised I arrive on 5th Dec which I'm sure is HM The King's Birthday. Anyone know if the bars will be closed or if there will be an alcohol ban on, as they tend to do on these important occasions? :?

Stock your fridge up before and a few bottles of spirits that will see you through the day & night.

They will still have the street walkers so their's no worries their. If in BKK, the Landmark still serves beer.

My next trip is in December or January. No LOS Blues whatsoever plus I have to work. My second trip was just too good to spoil in with another one to soon.

Bummer. It is the King's birthday on the 5th Dec so if history is anything to go by expect at least the majority of bars to be closed, if not all. Alcohol will likely be banned in 7-11s & Family Marts after perhaps 6pm or so.

The girls don't just stop work though, so there will still be plenty strutting their stuff and possibly a few chancers selling beer on the street later on

All this is speculation, I maybe wrong

Thanks for the info DC, Just about what I was expecting. Oh well, not the end of the world, looks like a few beers in the hotel and a wonder round to see what I can find...... :twisted:

It's alright for all you lucky bastards with plans in the near future, but it's unlikely I will be in LOS for the rest of this year as my contract runs right up to 31st December with possible extension, so you're safe from a LOS bound DC :?

However, unlike my usual visits of minimum one month I'll try to engineer a short two weeker, perhaps just after the kids summer break.

Then after this contract has finished come the new year I want to go there for a year, so that'll make up for this year's deficit
