after seeing one of those beasty's landing at heathrow just before christmas i'm not sure i'd want to fly on one, talk about bellyflop of a landing! i'd also rather not be reminded of the gooners, bad enuff living near the crappy stadium
I had 777's on 3 of my legs but one of those beasts on the BKK-DXB leg. Was looking forward to it but was very disappointed because I had a seat right in front of the wall, crappy legroom and then my foldout ICE screen didn't work

3 legs, bugger that i'd prefer to get it out of the way and do one 12 hour stint!
I'm a firm believer that your holiday starts at the airport...i quite like the trolly dollies on Thai Airways
wonder if any of them will be up for some mile high club on my next trip

That includes the return trip, LGW-DXB, DXB-BKK. Only a 3 hour stop in Dubai so a pretty painless stopover.
I was tempted by the idea of the Thai Airways direct flight until I saw their 747's had no TVs on each seat and I'm not one who finds it easy to sleep in-flight.

if memory serves me they've retro fitted something like 6 of the 747's but you wouldn't know which one your gonna get i guess, TG917 was the one i was on that was.
