i notice a mix of peeps using weeks and some days for those that have to wait a while. is this some psychological thing i wonder, i switched my countdown app to days today and it's 110 days. it's still a long time but for some reason i feel happier with it saying days :loco:

I had 777's on 3 of my legs but one of those beasts on the BKK-DXB leg. Was looking forward to it but was very disappointed because I had a seat right in front of the wall, crappy legroom and then my foldout ICE screen didn't work

3 legs, bugger that i'd prefer to get it out of the way and do one 12 hour stint!
I'm a firm believer that your holiday starts at the airport...i quite like the trolly dollies on Thai Airways :D
wonder if any of them will be up for some mile high club on my next trip

That includes the return trip, LGW-DXB, DXB-BKK. Only a 3 hour stop in Dubai so a pretty painless stopover.

I was tempted by the idea of the Thai Airways direct flight until I saw their 747's had no TVs on each seat and I'm not one who finds it easy to sleep in-flight.

depends on which flight you get kendo, i had one of the retro fitted 747's on the way out to bkk just before christmas and it was quite nice. i would prefer to have slept myself but kept picking up the dam controller and playing the games!
if memory serves me they've retro fitted something like 6 of the 747's but you wouldn't know which one your gonna get i guess, TG917 was the one i was on that was.

AIRBUS have commented today that the "cracks" on the wings of some of their A380's are nothing to worry about

 Yeah, and there are dangerous cracks all over pattaya too but it is still safe to climb aboard, get deep inside and have the ride of your life.

Airbus new variant, the all new ''LB A380-800'' special edition...
