the irony is, the member who wanted me to remove pics, is responsible for compiling the biggest ever trip report, containing a picture of every single lb in pattaya.

I think it would be another matter all together if the LB herself asked that the photo be removed. Then again, she was simply in the photo as a matter of chance.
Mods, what's the deal here? Is there actually a forum policy on this?
I'm with Batman on this one and would also be pissed if one of my photos was removed for this reason.

If a random photo is taken in a public place, and someone happens to be in the photo, then so be it. It happens.
If you're taking a photo on Walking Street, do you get permission from everyone on the street at the time of the photo? Of course not. Why would you need permission to "post any photos" on the internet?
I think board members are pretty conscious of taking pix of other members present, and ask if they can be posted. If I take a pic, and a fellow BM doesn't want to be shown, I'll either crop them out, block their face or simply not post the picture. That is a courtesy one extends to those we know.
Once again, the request to have the photo withdrawn didn't come from the LB, it came from the boyfriend, who has NO authority to make such a request.

Gaz.....the same moment i take pictures who are more "intime"...i always ask.....but how the bloody hell can i ask everybody in a public place...NONE of the girls that night said anything against it...they actually loved to have their photo taken.... :wink:couldent said beter myself but did it ever ocur to u who her sponsor may be ? and did u have permission to take her photo in the first place ? and flash it all over the internet ?
and all of us that night had our own "suplies" of LB`s with us...so we didnt barfined anybody from that bar...
but i both understand and respect Kliome for removing the pics after the GIRL asked for it....iam not angry with her...actually i feel more pity for her....as she is connected with such an asshole...

Ask if OK to post photos - common courtesy. I have the greatest respect for the guys that do the professional shoots but then the GG/LB knows it is for the internet and accept the consequences - they have to sign a form saying so.
If a LB/GG has a sponsor AND continues to work in a bar then the sponsor needs to accept that fact. If he wants her out of the P4P scene then he must move one step beyond a sponsor.
If someone asked us to give up sex for 6 months how many could answer honestly "yes". These LB's/GG's are young (well - compared to me) and they enjoy sex.
A sponsor pays 10K per month and assumes they will stop work (I made the same mistake before I moved here with a GG). Dream on. 10K is subsistence living in Pattaya - Room rent/Electric/Water/Salon/Eating etc etc.
If they move back to their village then that is different - their living costs drop dramatically.
Batman has a good approach - he knows what the scene is and does not delude himself. A GG/LB works in a bar - that is it - she WORKS.
I do understand a sponsor becoming pissed off with "core" photos but then his GG/LB should request no photos.

I'm just curious why the photo would have been deleted, simply because the "boyfriend" didn't like that it was up. The photo in question wasn't revealing and was simply a "party" pic.
I think it would be another matter all together if the LB herself asked that the photo be removed. Then again, she was simply in the photo as a matter of chance.
Mods, what's the deal here? Is there actually a forum policy on this?

I was asked to take off the picture by the LB in question, so in that scenario I'm happy to remove it.

The thing is there are 4 sort of people in this style we choose to live
1. Hunters - those guys like myself, who have a full live, misses, mortgage etc back home and only go to LOS to play once or twice a year!
2. Prey or as Emma/Amy puts it (Stupid Farangs) - guys who are the oppposite of hunters, don't have a live out of Thai and try gettin youngboys sponser and try building a life with these young fellas, sendin then stupid amounts of money, why they still give hunters the asses.
3. Ex-Pats - those guys who are retired hunters, just settlin down for an easy layback live in LOS
4. Wannabes - those twats/guys who read all about the nightlife of LOS on the interent and venture over in packs to walk up and down WalkingStreet pointing at LBs saying "OMG thats a BLOKE" and then return home to wank over hunters trophy postings
We all fit under one of these cats, the question is which 1?
