Does someone have experiences with opticians in bangkok?

I always see this charoen optical advertisments everywhere. Seems like a big chain.

I think in Thailand its a lot cheaper to get new glasses done compares to europe.

Recoil:

I just had glasses made in Pattaya at Top Charone (after checking out around 6 other opticians). Check out the Day One section of my recent trip report for details. I highly recommend these guys, especially if you need work done quickly (they were able to get my very difficult prescription from BKK in two days). They were very open to negotiation on price as well. I suspect their BKK locations would be equally easy to work with.

Highly recommended.
