I wouldn't worry regarding rooms getting full.

The Yorkshire Inn replied saying all their Standard Delux rooms are booked because of a large group booking, and they only have one Large Double available, but they still had Stadard doubles left.

Im assuming that most hotels will still have plenty of rooms left considering they regard May/April as low season there.

Saying that it would be good to have rooms sorted asap. Any news Batman?

Yes, there shall be at least 4 BMs coming and it looks like we all have accomodation sorted. All arriving together on 29th.

I think Batman may be bringing a ladee friend and hopefully 1 or 2 more BMs will join us.

I think it will be party night every night, but if any special arrangments are made I don't have any preferrences.

ok thanks guys, fair play, but I'm gonna bail and do my own booking - I said suite 5 when I meant 4 etc etc. as only those two have balconies and that's a must for me - I'm a smoker, but I hate the stale smell, so I always do it outside

I've never had anyone book for me before and it's painful waiting, no disrespect batdude

Also, if I was the guy who runs ThePlaceToStay I would have come onto this forum like a shot and posted, also made separate PMs/emails etc. to interested parties. Maybe he gets booked up all the time and doesn't bother to look, just let's it happen.

Anyways, I will make my own arrangements for accommodation now...

I stayed up to watch the Aussie GP and fell asleep about 10 mins before the finish :? and then had only 1½ hrs sleep after, so my brain is lacking right now, plus I work 6 days a week but for the last 2 and the next 2 weeks it's 7 day weeks, so I feel fucked and need LOS bad man... That's another reason I opted out of the Wayout Club jaunt, no energy :?

For me R&R and LBs are a little over 2 weeks away

iwe got an mail from Tom now...so i think he will write us all...

and my life dont dependt on what suite iwe got...so its okay for me to have either 1 or 2 as well...

then you and Kliome can have nr 4 and 5...no problemos...

the reason it takes sometimes to communicate these days is that iam working 16 hour/day....and even superheros needs sleep sometimes...

think it could be fun to "share" the place....

I'm happy to take any room at the end of the day. I only presume suites 4 and 5 look best value for money witheth balcony and extra space.

I've had a look at other hotels/guest houses in the area and you can get cheaper, but half these websites don't have location maps and I have no idea of the scale of Patong.

I will be in C&Ds every night from 27/4 - 2/5 and am looking forward to 'the craic'! Sounds like theres going to be plenty of us around for a full week of partying.

Apologies for the waffle and fluff I posted earlier

I am happy to wait for a response regarding ThePlaceToStay, and like you say, would be good to share the same place.

batman, I understand the time lag and your long days etc. , therefor a delay in getting a response is no problem. Naturally I'm eager to know if it's available for us all.
- Did Tom's email suggest his place is available for us all?

kliome, thanks for the update re: the reason why Yorkshire Inn was getting almost full, that's why I flapped earlier.



I did email www.liontchai.com re: availability, they are also in the Paradise Complex. They have in-room computer, safe and balcony too.

I recieved a reply from Tom. He said they have all 4 rooms available for that time and he said Rene had already provisionally booked a room and he's aware we are looking to take more rooms. He also mentioned a 10% discount if we took all 4.

As a back up I've also contacted C&N, which I've been told is almost next door (maybe someone can confirm whether this is true?)

C&N are 1000bht a night from May 1st (200bht extra for the first two nights. I also like the look of this place and have heard good things. In the acoom threads there's suggestion that if you tell them you don't want the breakfast you get the rooms 200bht a night cheaper. I've emailed them to check!

kliome, C&N is about 4 mins walk away from Paradise Complex and a little closer to the action in Bangla, a negligable distance.

Regarding 'The Place To Stay', I'm happy to take Suite 2 if you like.

You can both take the Balcony Suites, I don't smoke so it's no big deal.

just landed home after another 16 hour shift... that brings the total of hours in 7 days up to 104... :?

thank buddha...only 27 days left to my plane take of....

actually...i dont care if we save a few baht in another place...but i def. like the idea about "the 69 team" to book up a whole guesthouse...

somehow it would be both easy and great..... :wink:

now...i need a little sleep :wink: but have the next two days off...so if you email Tom...just say iam in for a room/suite whatever... :wink:
