I wouldn't mind catching up with Ming myself.

Does she make appearances in C&Ds?

I am making my first trip to Phuket next month and have been planning to stay at C&N hotel. Are they 100% LB friendly? How about close to your place and the rest of the action? Any help will be appreciated.

Hi Dodger - good to hear youre on your way back!
Unfortunately Whitney has decided to go her own way. She says she plans to try Singapore. She thinks, as they all do, that there is a pot of gold over there. However, she still has to get a visa etc, so i reckon you might still find her freelancing on Bangla when you get here.
I have mixed feelings about her leaving. On the one hand she can be a brilliant entertainer and a real "star of the show", but sometimes she gets the "greedy culture" i have talked about on here earlier, and can be a bit aggressive about asking for tips etc. I have had one or two confrontations with her, which may account for her departure!

Flights from Pattaya to Phuket/Koh Samui are about 6500 Baht return, on Bangkok Airways, leaving UTapao airport which is about 25 Kms South of Pattaya. Local airport so more like a Bus Terminal. Easy check in etc.

Nice info re: Flights from Pattaya.

TBH, I think I would rather pay a little extra to fly from Pattaya, rather than take a taxi ride all the way to an airport in Bangkok to fly.

It would save a few hours too, time better spent in Phuket than sitting in the back of a so-called limousine.
