I'm absolutely outraged, all that talk about protecting her virtue, protecting it for himsel! The man's an obvious cad, still I suppose by propping the chair behind the door he did prevent a gang rape.
All the same Voodo, you seem like a nice Irish lad so I don't know why you would want to hang around with matchman, I'm sure your mother wouldn't approve.
Anyway Lek told me if she had to go with customers she would be thinking about me, if that was too hard she would at least lie back and think of Wat Arun.
I hope that matchman is not back in town in June I'm a lover not a fighter

Voodoo, By Gad your right sir, I did a search on Matchman and found his trip report, I can't believe I'd missed it earlier, well maybe it's due to the fact that the wife arrived back from the UK last weekend and I haven't been haunting the board as much since then.

Actually I don't have anything against voodoo, other than he alerted me to matchmans dirty dealings, so if I can re instruct father Murphy to just hand out a slapping instead of the ultimate solution I will, if not, sorry voodoo old friend.

I just finished your 2007 trip report and noting the date, wondered if you were still around. I see that you commented in June 2010, so i wanted to write.
Just a note to say that I can relate to much of what you wrote in your TR. I made my first foray into the darkside only last year on Phuket. Married for many years (now divorced, but not due to LB's), I found it an intoxicating world of both the exotic and the frightening.
I just returned from my own recent LOS trip, where I encountered much of what you wrote......especially that phenomena of experience a bit of a "crush" on one particular LB.
I am still wondering, "what happened to me?".
Great reporting. I will post my own lightweight TR soon.....

Yes I'm still around older and I hope a bit wiser. I am having a couple of days in Pattaya in two weeks time, but I will be avoiding my ex "crush" a long story, but let's just say if your married it really is best to keep LB's on a rental basis trying to avoid the emotional attachment.
Hope your liver is repairing after your time with Rene, but you couldn't have had a better guide.
I hope we might bump into ewach other one day in LOS, but my visits these days are always short, like the next one, just a stop over en route to China.

Hi Nixworld,

Likewise Patrick. Thanks for the speedy reply. Good to hear from you.
It's a 24 hour journey, and a 12 hour time-zone change for me to visit LOS. My ass is completely kicked with the surreal effects of jetlag for about 4 days on both ends.....
......and it's worth it.
You are absolutely correct about needing to give the liver a rest. I was in LOS for about 3 weeks, and felt like I was on a continuous beer-feed the entire time. My head is still kind of foggy......but yes, Batman is a great guide and a good friend to any Newbie like myself.
I'm thinking of returning to LOS for about 3 weeks around late October or early November. Will you perhaps be around? Would enjoy getting acquainted over a beer or 3.
Nix
