you are welcome!..sorry for the rant!..just sometimes you know in your heart that you are trying to do the right thing by others,and you get your "ass" handed to ya' for tryin'..all i wanted to do was get "involved"..picked the wrong one i guess!.."like the man said!

Here in Asia (where I live) I mostly meet the terms "ladyboy" and "transgender" when my trans-friends refer to themselves. "Ladyboy" appears to be totally accepted and not "politically incorrect" as is often the case in the West by my experience. Less used here are "shemale" and "transsexual" and I almost never hear "transvestite/crossdresser" even though that is what a few of my trans-friends actually are in a technical sense.
Wikipedia has a pretty thorough term-description as well as a good link-list for further readings if interested.
