Having seen some post its re "am I Gay" and "what is a ladyboy" etc. I thought I would do some research and get some modern day definitions.

Thanks to Oxford Dictionary on line. Ladyboy/Katoey does not appear - tut tut - so I have derived a definition from many sources.

Transvestite/Crossdresser - Noun a person, typically a man, who derives pleasure from dressing in clothes considered appropriate to the opposite sex.

Transgender/Transsexual (also transexual) - Noun a person born with the physical characteristics of one sex who emotionally and psychologically feels that they belong to the opposite sex.

Gay - Adjective (gayer, gayest) 1 (especially of a man) homosexual. 2 relating to homosexuals.
Preferring sexual relationships with their own sex as their own sex.
Note The term Gay as in Happy is now outdated according to Oxford Dictionary

Ladyboy/Katoey - Male with highly feminine attributes who desires to be female. Has sexual relations with males as a female. May have undergone feminine enhancing surgery/hormones.
Post Op - has plastic surgery to replace male sex organs with feminine organs. Pre Op - has male organs in tact.

I am sure all members agree that LB's are special no matter how you define them and they do not fit the definitions of Transgender etc etc.

One post that was illuminating is - Gay guy with long hair - I guess my preference is for LB with breasts that way you get the best of both worlds and then are sure it is not a guy doing a temporary stint as a LB.

That a good start , but what exactly is a femboy?

Is it a guy dressed like a man but having long hair and makeup like a woman. Seen a few of these often with a girlfriend.

Or a gay guy dressed up like a ladyboy just for the money he can earn that way.

BTW Gay usually means sad at least when said by boys my sons age. (16)

Sorry to say but i think this is a stupid topic. Specially putting down definitions....if you want to find out....go out there and find out for yourself!

Sorry to throw a monkey wrench into this discussion, but do we go and find out the definition of female before we go out and try to meet girls? I don't think so. To me ladyboys are more feminine than most girls I have had any relations with, also I don't think I have had any silent treatments from any lb or angry outbursts....maybe because I have yet to be caught with another lb? One exception just comes to mind, but this exception wasn't a ladyboy from Thailand but from another country and she admitted to being extremely bitchy, posessive and had angry outbursts....but hey that is one exception.but seriously, besides the sex thing, ladyboys are usually very well adjusted with themselves, something I cannot say about genetic girls.

My point is that we usually view ladyboys from an emotional and sexual/lustful view so trying to describe them in dictionary terms, somehow doesn't do them justice.

Fellow forum members - if I have offended you with my attempt at definition I aplogise. I was only trying to cast some clarity over some threads I read which implied some members were concerned about their own sexuality since they now have desires for LB's.

I also did not intend to define how we feel about them. I agree with the Post Its you submitted. How do you explain the lust/desire and damned just fantasy of Thai' s special 3rd gender. They are unique - they are not guys dressed as ladies. They are not part time cross-dressers. They are unique - they behave better than many GG's. They are emotional in a good way and great bed fellows - what more could a man want - I have actually met a guy and his LB wife/partner of 12 years. He is still a happy man.

I hope that as each generation comes up they continue to provide a percentage of LB's. Someone mentioned that they are what they are from a young age and that makes them even more fascinating because they think/feel and act like a GG - they just carry a little extra weight!

I've seen femboys tossed around here like an insult and just wanted to know exactly what it means :? . I have seen another definition on another thread so have a better idea now. :)

We dont all have the time to find out everything for ourselves . For some people making a mistake could prevent them from coming back to Thailand again as they could get the wrong impression. :(

Maybe there could be a sticky with FAQ's as most sites do. :D

Ducking for cover now

I am starting to get fed up with your negative comments on this forum. We know you were taken in and hurt by Filipino Aubrey but hey come on Fella, life goes on :) You have made your point
Us guys who visit this site are well aware of the situation and there is absolutely no need for you to keep spelling it out in crude terms.
So, please get that chip off your shoulder and start a new chapter, alternatively stay away.

I joined LB69 because i am a lady boy lover. I love ladyboys and trust them more than any female slut i have been with. I am sure other members on this site dont need a lecture from some guy that has an inferiority complex about ladyboys.I take offence to being called a sap as a i am sure others are. So do me a favour and fuck off!

When I posted some definitions it was to try and help out those new to the scene and help them overcome their concerns about their own sexuality.

Some of the responses are not about refining definitions or explaining what a LB is.

Opinions are like Arsholes - everyone has one!
A Critic never wrote a good play

Most LB's I have met have been terrific people in both Francks Club 131 and Bob's Stringfellows everything has been great. I would probably not pick one up off the street. You dave a BF but you have no comeback - you do get help from the bar owner if things go wrong.

I also have met other LB's who work legtit (not bar club) and they have been great - they hold down a good job as a third gender - not easy.

When you go to 2nd Road or Soi 7/8 they are a bit wilder you can tell from their attitude/dress and make up.

You need to decide what you want - play safe and use a reputable bar as your pick up/meeting point or take a chance on a real freelancer.

BY THE WAY ALL THE ABOVE APPLIES TO GG's too. I have been ripped off by more GG's than LB's
