You have lived in Thailand for a significant proportion of your life, so I am surprised you haven't learnt that Thai's generally don't show their appreciation by saying "Thank You" in the same way western cultures do.

Remember the Buddhist teachings;

"True giving must be free from expectations of anything in return. If you expect to get even a word of appreciation like "Thank You" from receivers then it is not true giving, but an exchange"

Fantastic pics from a place i wish i could be at now. I really appreciate you send us this across the globe to share It makes our(mine) dull lifes here more bareable. I can almost feel the pattaya vibe watching this. BIG thanks, frank., and please keep it coming ( Aey and Kwang would be very nice)
