I know where it is located but believe me i never want to see how it looks from the inside!

The Bang Kwang Prison (nicknamed "Bangok Hilton") is in Nonthaburi.

Actually i think about to contact my embassy in Bangkok on my next trip if there are german prisoners who like to get a visit from a german. Everybody knows that the living conditions there are very hard. I think when you visit a prisoner there and bring him some stuff (like cigarettes) you can make a bit of a difference.

That is a totally cool idea..
Sorry to turn this into 'an off topic' post..
but do you know if it's possible to arrange visits like that?

I'm not sure I'd enjoy being in their but it would be nice to maybe offer some support to some of the less fortunate Western inmates there. Of course you'd have to get a full check on who you were visiting, some people are there for a good reason, but we are always seeing articles and hearing horror stories about those who just get caught up in desperate situations, and I can definitley see how that's possible in LOS.
