With that limitation on price, and close to Nana Plaza, there aren't alot of places.

A couple of possibilities may be;

Pinnacle Inn Sukhumvit

Leela Inn Hotel

Nana Inn

My advice would be to spend another 200 Baht/ night and get something reputable.

The difference between 800 baht/night and 1000 baht/night is only $5 USD

By the way, when are you planning to travel ?

Well actually ive already put in an extra 100-200 in those 800 hehe. But i guess few more baht wouldnt hurt, depending if i find some part time work.

I've been thinking on going in march or april, and will stay about 3-4 weeks. probably around 10 days in bangkok, and then maybe 10 in pattaya, and few days again in bangkok before flying home again.

Edit: Pinnacle inn looks perfect though, 700 a night, and close ..

My advice to you would be to spend a greater proportion of your time in Pattaya, as the accomodation will be considerably cheaper than Bangkok, as will the costs associated with barfines and tips to ladyboys.

Particularly if you want to spend 3-4 weeks in Thailand on a budget.

WEll i probably will be spending most of the time on pattaya, since i want some sun and water, dont wanna sufficate in the bangkok air. Plus im not planing on paying for any barfines, st and Lt. I have a Lb that will come to be with me, most of the time im tehre anyway.

Playboy hotel Nana nua about 700 baht,most people use this has a short time hotel.However they have plenty of large spacious rooms cable TV,guest friendly good location.I have stayed there plenty of times

Old thread but foor the record Ruamchitt Plaza Hotel is the best hotel I know of for 1000bht and under, although realistically you want to budget for at least 1,500bht per night in BKK.

Sukhumvit between Soi13 and 15
(above Theramea, the infamous gg coffee house)
Friendly staff
Extremely girl friendly
Reasonably furnished
And just about clean enough

Eddie, and rest of you guys. What can you do in bkk besides lb hunting? I like the beach too, so pattaya is probably where i´ll spend most time, but i want to be in bkk for at least a week. I know its a big city so there shouldnt be any problems having a nice time, but any suggestions?

Seems to split people but there is plenty to do in Bangkok.
