It is reassuring however to know that some testing is done. At least the probabilities drop somehow, when you know that the girl was clean until 2-3 months ago.

Caution is always the best prevention obviously, `cause probabilities can fuck you up big time (see gambling)

The testing is few and far between, and effectively meaningless.

Do not be fooled by claims of them being disease free, or that the bar has a testing policy.

Thanks brit. I wasn`t sure if it was something imposed regularly by the law. As I understand it it isn`t, and many bars may not test their girls regularly. It`s up to them.. as they say

The girls on the street are no more riskly than the girls in the bar (other than you can at least you know her location of work)... so you can get her there in the future if she steals anything etc.

Assessing risk is a dodge game. It depends if you have a small (unknown to you) cut in or around your mouth. Perhaps your gums had slight bleeding.

All can mean HIGH risk for you.

Best to ensure the LB and yourself are wearing a suitable condom each... and even then its not 100% safe
