Ive read several posts online regarding Mixed Nuts Bar in Manila. Is it still open? I cant seem to find any current information online. Also, any other recommendations for Ladyboy bars in Manila?

I was in Manila a couple of weeks ago and sadly, Mixed Nuts is no more. I thought that another ladyboy bar would surface to take its place but no such luck. The street scene on P. Burgos was as active as always with numerous ladyboys working the streets.

Well, that sucks. I was hoping to find a bar. Walking the street can be uncomfortable sometimes. Do people make comments in Manila when they see others talking or walking with ladyboys? In South American many will make rude comments; especially foreigners.

Yeah, I know. Me too. I was at Mixed Nuts a bunch of times pre covid. It was a lot of fun with some real babes. Nobody makes any rude comments on Burgos Street. My girlfriend is a ladyboy and we travel together. The Filipinos are cool about foreigners and ladyboys. Even if they aren't interested themselves, they understand.

This will be my first trip to see LB's in Asia. In Latin America some people can be rude about it and make comments and draw attention. I hate that. And other Americans and Canadians can be the worst offenders with the comments.

A lot of the foreigners in the street with the hookers are interested in ladyboys themselves. Believe me, everybody is cool with it. I have been going to the Philippines for years and I have never gotten a rude comment. I think you will be pleasantly surprised.
