 My apologies for the lack of posts recently, but it's busy times chez Jimbo.

 

 As you may know, i lost Cocktails & Dreams Bar in Patong to the demolition crew, and am in the process of re-locating to Naklua Road, Pattaya, and buying TJ's Bar which has many similarities to C & D. Very relaxed atmosphere, large open bar with comfortable seating, and music that doesn't blow your ears off.

 

The takeover isn't quite complete yet, but hands have been shaken, terms agreed, and I should be fully installed by the middle of September.

 

Here is my first batch of pictures, taken last night. The place was rocking, and the girls were very entertaining. The impromptu shows lacked a bit of shape and form, but they're all mad keen to get up there and show off (like ladyboys do, lol !) so i'm looking forward to working with them to put on regular timed shows:

Good luck with your new adventure Jim, we all hope that everything goes smooth and you succeed to re-locate Pattaya, although that old "holy trinity", Pattaya, Phuket and BKK has now lost one pillar. Well, i'm sure that we'll survive... we must. 

 

Life must go on and hopefully you get some new experiences and ideas in new place, after all, when some door closes in life, next door opens. 

 

Seems that i have to go to Naklua next time when i'm in scenery...

A little background on TJs.  Up to a few years ago, this bar located in Naglua, the German section of Pattaya was a hostess bar strictly GG.  I had the delight of knowing Em, the lady thai owner, and her German husband, Rudy.  The girls there were fresh, unassuming, approachable and just girl friend material. I fell for a bar tender named Nueng.  It had been seven years since I had last visited for Em's 50th birthday. Gone were the girls, and the german clientele replaced with pretty well dressed ladyboys.  I found the bar strange, quite frankly, without an identity.  I had a feeling that the bar was either going to go belly up or be sold.  Im glad its been purchaced by someone definitely in the know !  Although its a little hard to find, Im confident it will be well attended.  Best of luck !
